Configuring 433 Mhz Controller Multichannel

The 433Mhz Controller is available in 1, 2, and 4 channel models depending on the need. For talkback speakers where you want to trigger the Dial-Down (call the preprogrammed number), only a 1 channel controller is necessary (in Momentary mode).

The 433Mhz Controller is used to provide a wireless connection to the Ceiling Mount SIP Talkback Speakers to add a wall button or panic dongle as shown below.

There are two different version of Controller, Jumper and Non Jumper versions.

Status Modes

Status modes is the behavior of the relay when pressing the button.

Momentary Mode – Pressing the Button holds relay closed until released. This is the most common mode and is used for panic buttons.

Self-Lock/Toggle Mode – Press once for relay closed and press again for relay open. Each channel operates independently.

Inter-Lock/Latching Mode – Press once and assigned relay will close, Press the same button will open relay. Press a different button will open existing relay and close assigned relay.

Jumper Based Version

Reset Mode/Clear All Remotes

Pressing eight times the learning key button on the board, the LED indicator on the board will flash for eight times, then existing remote controls are all deleted from the controller.

Learning Mode

Pressing once the learning key button on the receiver board (LED indicator on receiver board will signal simultaneously), then press any of the remote button, flashing three times by remote’s LED indicator shows learning is successful. Each button on the remote will be assigned to an individual channel. You will need to test to check the assignment of each button to each channel as it differs depending on remote used.

Jumper Settings

  1. Momentary – No Pins Jumped
  2. Toggle – JP1 and JP2 Jumped
  3. Inter-lock-/Latched — JP2 and JP3 Jumped
