Understanding Heartbeat Configuration

Note: This requires Version 1.2.x and above.

The heartbeat configuration allows you to keep track of the devices on the network even if they are set to DHCP and are not on the local network. This is also used by servers such as the Cistera CCS to keep uptodate on devices available.

To set the heartbeat server, go to Audio Config and set Server Address, and Broadcast port. Note please don’t change default port 8877.

To monitor devices goto Devices Heartbeat on the Main Menu.

You can also update the Heartbeat server through the edit multiple devices.
