Setting Time Servers

All SIP devices need a time server to maintain timing between various devices. Ideally all SIP devices including the server should use the same time server.

Note: The time server address you set must be accessible and not blocked by firewalls. If you block NTP requests, the device will cycle through a cached list of known servers to find an unblocked NTP server.

Set the default Time Servers

In the main dashboard you can set the default Time Servers by clicking on.

This will open the Time Server window.

The default is the time1.google.com 216.239. 35.0 and time2.google.com  219.239.35.4

You can put your own time servers in IP address and it will update the app.config file.

Update Time Servers on Device

To update the time services, select the device then go to the Network tab.

At the bottom you will see NTP Server 1 and NTP Server 2. These will default to the global default addresses.

Select Update Device, and type in the password and set okay.
